Larissa, Julie and Jade made their way to the hidden oasis of Jubilee Square to start their Saturday off with a bit of weeding. After being shown the vegetable planters on the way to the large beds along the pathway, we were briefed on our main task: the removal of the unruly 'sticky weed' along with a little cutting back of the dead shrubs.

An hour passed quickly but the satisfaction of clearing one side of the pathway, whilst passers by commented on our efforts, felt like a good result. Getting a huge bag filled with sticky weed was surprisingly easy!

Looking forward to the return visit next Friday evening to help put up the bunting ahead of the Coronation celebrations.
