The rain wasn't present so we thought we had got away with it. We were all excited to go up Aaron, with Joe expressing concern if Aaron knew our plans, but then alas! Floods to the left of us, floods to the right of us, here we were stuck in the middle. We even sent our guinea pig Rich to test the depth but he declared it too moist.

We set off a different route to meet Fay, who had done some extra runninng, and beat the street phenomenon, Sallyann. Delivering leaflets for Helen Rollason and Headway we nipped down copious roads which all seemed to loop round. Joel declared his dream is to visit the two saxons pub, unsure if he would live to tell the tale. I overheard Angela and Laurie admiring a hairy bush (I didn't want to ask) but I certainly will be asking Chris this weekend for the story behind his Dj name - DJ Wolfleg. Very intrigued. We managed to deliver all the leaflets and even managed to stop by Richard's own hill he owns, very humble he hadn't mentioned it before.

Most impressive of all, Erin even managed to keep her eyes open for the group photo!!

If you're coming to Parkrun this weekend a few of us are going to Spoons for breakfast after and all welcome. If not, there is always the beer festival!

Good quality of life while coping with cancer is the most important gift a sick person can receive. It should be available to everyone.

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is dedicated to supporting people whose lives are touched by cancer. Our support centres in Essex are vital in helping people living with cancer. Our aim is to provide a safe space where you can be yourself and do not have to put on a brave face. A place where you can have enjoyable, relaxing and calming treatments in the knowledge that you are not alone.
