Nine Goodgym Runner went to Central Square Hampstead to meet and plog the local green space and streets. The square is the centrepiece of Hampstead Garden suburb having two beautiful churches on its Boundry. It was a good place to meet and chat. We introduced ourselves and discussed things to do now that lockdown had eased. The cinema was mentioned along with pubs and restaurants. I mentioned a cycle ride to the ice cream factory in Arkley highly recommended although watch out for the big hills en route! https://www.lewisoflondon.co.uk/ice-cream-farm/visit-us/. We also talked about the 2000 isolated people that have been helped by goodgym during lockdown and a special mention was made for Danny and John with 254 and 324 good deeds respectively. We did a short warm up and the headed off to the heath extension in pairs and threes. It was surprisingly messy with rubbish and over the 45 minutes we managed to deposit quite a few bags. We returned to the square and those that had time joined in with a short fitness session of sprints, press ups and squats. We finished off with some stretching as the sun started to set.
