For many this was the first big running event since the pandemic struck. It was a nice mixture of running, relaxation and necessary precautions.

There were many highlights - the location, the kids 1km race and the countryside.

The race set off in waves attacking the hills, negotiating the multitude of different terrains, responding to the cheers of the volunteers and lapping up the glory of the cheers from the finish line.

It was also a family event and the importance of a healthy lifestyle was visibly passing from one generation to the next.

Well done! 10k is a great achievement!
