Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Nicky Woodall (she/her)
15 excellent GoodGymmers chose a delightfully pleasant evening (a bit of a contrast from the storm last night, and the rain last week!) to return to Myatts. Our task was similar to last week - carry on weeding the two areas we'd been allocated ๐ฑ
After splitting into two groups, we quickly got to work, aided by Tony and Taye who were able to confirm what were and weren't weeds when we weren't sure. It turns out that the recent rain showers weren't actually enough to make the soil soft so we got a good workout too ๐ช๐ผ And no one got hit by any falling branches, as warned by some very helpful signs on some of the trees - win ๐
After an hour of hard work, we'd made a noticeable difference (which is always a good thing) and were ready to part ways, after a team photo, obviously ๐ธ
It was great to welcome Jade for her first good deed with GoodGym. We hope we'll see you again soon ๐
We'll be back at Myatts next Tuesday evening so do sign up if you'd like to join us ๐๐ผ
Thanks everyone, brilliant work ๐๐ผ
