A small group today, but we made our way out on to the streets anyway. Three goodgymers in the heat of Summer made their short way to the Samye Foundation to help.

Our task, reduced for the smaller group - to start painting the new trellis in the back community space. After a catch up with our task organiser Lorraine, and a look around the new areas that had been made. The lovely new seating area on decking, surrounded by greenery and known as the tropical seating. The new group seating made from scaffolding boards, and the lush planting that had seemingly exploded since our last run to Samye.

Now to get to work, lets volunteer - HARD

30 minutes went by quickly as we could hear music from the neighbours out in their gardens waiting for the football to start, we pushed on through the heat to get as much done as possible.

I see a repeat visit coming.......

Brushes down, and time for a quick snack and chat with Lorraine. We didn't mind taking our time tonight, it's important not to push yourself in this kind of heat!
