About this session

Marston Forest Garden is part of the Marston Community Garden cooperative, which comprises a community allotment, the Forest Garden, a chicken coup, an orchard and a new Community Wood on New Marston Recreation Ground, plus much more.

Jobs at Marston Forest Garden usually include weeding, planting, watering, spreading wood chip and compost etc. This time we may be laying bricks for a labyrinth!

Bring your gardening gloves. All tools will be provided.

Meeting locations: * If you would like to join a group run to the task location please meet at 6pm outside the Up in Arms pub on Marston Road. It is a bit over a mile to Marston Community Allotment from there.
* If you prefer to meet at the task meet at the Boults Lane Recreation Ground entrance to Court Farm Allotments at 6:15pm. OX3 0NT

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anwen Greenaway by email at anwen@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 5km and 7km in total.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
