FNL x GoodGym Greenwich
Get involved as GoodGym and Friday Night Lights team up for a series of sessions this Spring
About this session
Hi everyone and welcome to GoodGym Greenwich!
We're a friendly and social group who combine running with volunteering in the local community. We meet every Wednesday to get active and do a physical task for charities and community organisations in the area.
The Task
So we're back with The Friends of Hervey Road Sports Field! This is always a lovely task of gardening with tasks ranging from planting to cutting back weeds around the young trees we planted last year.
The Run
Our run this week will be just over 1km each way. Everyone is welcome at any pace - we never leave anyone behind! We can have a group for walking on this task too so you're welcome to join for the walk.
Where & When
We meet at 6.45pm for a 7 o'clock start at Charlton House on the corner of Hornfair Road. The session will be about 90 minutes in total so we should be all wrapped up by 8.30pm.
What To Bring
Please bring some gloves if you have some, otherwise it's just yourself!
protect and promote biodiversity where at present brambles, thistles and tuffets of grass and alkanet proliferate

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Rachel Henry by email at rachelhenry@goodgym.org.
Area Activator at GoodGym Greenwich. I love community and getting to know all the great initiatives and people that make it what it is!
