Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool
We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Monday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across Liverpool.
For tonight meet at the task site which is in the “orchard” located immediately below the Colonnades…… so if you go to Prince Edwin street and then up the steps there…we’ll meet by the Heritage board at the top there at 7
The Task
The Friends of Everton Park work hard throughout the year to keep this valued local park in tip top shape. We've had a great relationship with the team over the years working with them from Spring to Autumn carrying out a variety of tasks to help out.
This week we'll be back at the Everton Park to litterpick a particulat area which has a lot of litter and brambles. Please wear long trousers and sleeves. However only do what you feel comfortable with and if being near brambles is mot your thing there will plenty of other things to help with.
All tools will be provided but please bring your own gloves!
As the evenings are now dark also bring your head/chest torch!
.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Ema Quinn (She/her) by email at ema@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 2km and 4km in total.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.

If you have a question you would like to ask privately, you can email the GoodGym Liverpool area activator, Ema Quinn (She/her), .
