Yesterday GoodGym Hounslow turned a whole six years old, and to celebrate the massive 3775 good deeds that we have notched up together over the years, we had a big celebration!

After meeting at the town hall, our starting spot for the past few years, we did a birthday themed warm up and then divided up into teams.

Quickly creating whatsapp groups, it was a head to head between Lucy's Little Pickers versus Grand Theft Wheelbarrow. The game was on!

Throughout the evening each group had a number of tasks to complete, including creating birthday themed Strava art and locating the hidden bin bags before doing a speed litter pick. The teams also had to find the hidden treasure and spend it in the best way possible for the community - both opting to buy some food to donate to the local food bank. There was a message from Jan, a favourite task owner, and instructions on some weeding to be done in the rockery, and of course it wouldn't be a Hounslow session without a fitness element. This involved the team doing a number of different exercises and cracking the clue before racing back to me to get those elusive last points!

Check out the photos to see how the evening progressed...

To cap off the evening, there was delicious cake made by Michelle, and we all learned how to do happy Birthday in sign language courtesy of Alanna.

Happy birthday GoodGym Hounslow, and here's to the next six years and all the fun, good deeds and burpees it will bring!
