Bank holiday bonanza ~ litter pick, swim and social!

We will be having an extra long bank holiday bonanza session! Due to the hot weather and extra day off there is bound to be a lot of litter at Goatee Beach. We will do a litter pick, optional swim, and social. You do not have to swim and are more than welcome just to come for the social.

Pickers will be provided, but please bring a bag and gloves if you have them. If you are swimming please bring whatever you feel comfortable in. The beach is stoney and the water is muddy so I would suggest water shoes or old trainers would be a good idea, but you can go bare foot if you like. Please feel free to bring snacks / drinks for social afterwards.

This is a turn up when you can session so don’t feel you need to attend for the full session. The swim will be at 6pm as this is when high tide is as we need all the water! Meet by the car park that is just over the bridge from the tide mill and we will walk down at 4.30pm. Anyone joining after this will need to walk from the car park, but it is straight down and can drop pin location in What’s app for those turning up later on. Please note if you drive over the toll bridge you will have to pay (I think it’s £2). Parking is free. There is street parking before the toll bridge. It is likely to be busy with bank holiday so car share if you can.
