Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Tim Dickson
Wow, I really enjoyed lasts nights task and run company. You guys rocked!!!
After signing in and meeting new faces (welcome to Goodgym Bexley Ashleigh) it was time for our warmup before heading out to our task on the Broadway.
Tonight our red army was 13 strong. Unlucky for some but not for the Community Hospice as they were going to get all these hands on deck for jobs they needed doing.

We arrived at the Broadway to a refreshing cold drink (thanks Mandy & Chris). It was a tight squeeze into the shop and we soon learnt that this was the smallest shop in the charities chain. After a brief history, chat and drink it was down to business. 3 tasks needed doing this evening. One large wall to be painted in the children's area, a hand rail and partition wall up to the back of the shop, and several bags of donations to be sorted and priced. It still astounds me what we can get done when we do our tasks. 40 mins doesn't sound long, but when everyone gets into team mode, the jobs get done, and done well.

Within 40 mins all jobs were completed and it was time for our mandatory photos. Tonight's photo theme was inline with this weeks athletic headlines, either a Mo or a Bolt. I think we smashed that too 😂 It was soon time to say our good byes. With a real sense of satisfaction and everyone talking about the task we had just done we slowly weaved our way back through the high street to base camp Crooklog. What a great evening, well done everyone. Tonight's Heroes 👇🏻 Neil Susan Sarah Peter Fiona Rose Caz Janine Tanya Mavis Ashleigh Fedillis
Guys before I sign off this Thursday brings a Goodgym Social evening being held at the 'Roof Top' bar, Southbank centre. It starts at 18.30 and everyone is welcome to attend. Have a great week Goodgymers. See you next week 🙌🏻
