What a lovely bunch this evening for a solid task in a weird old building. We kicked things off at the Bridge House with names and favourite breaded goods (made of dough). A nice selection.
It was fab to have Zara at her first GoodGym sesh! And great to have Izzy along to her first group run. And also meeting us from Southwark, Gemma!
Our task this evening was with Kingswood Arts, a group who have taken over an incredible old mansion and are turning it into a multi-faceted events/community/arts/drama/music space. But first we had to get there - It's a bit of a trek over the hill but we made it with perfect timing to meet Nico who showed us our task...
Long live the Kingswood
At Kingswood, we met Gemma and Hannah, shared our favourite breaded goods (bread-crumbed) and got cracking with a load of shifting:
πͺ Moving a couple of hundred chairs into the room next door.
π Rearranging some sofas
πͺ Moving more chairs
πͺ Moving some ladders, speakers and miscellaneous boxes to the basement.
πͺ Moving more chairs and tables.
GoodGym combines getting fit with balloonteering π
Before leaving, we took some snaps with some balloons and headed home.
Cracking stuff everyone! Imagine how long that would have taken one or two people to do! π
