Today's junior parkrun at Acton Park was all about big numbers. 67 children running in the event nearly doubled the usual turnout! Maybe that's why the parkrun organisers reserved three slots for barcode scanners. All of those were GoodGymers: Divya, Sevan and Kash. Next to them, Florian volunteered at finish tokens, and Joanna managed the funnel. Chikako, as usual, offered parkrun her skill as a VI guide.
One big number not to be forgotten was Sevan's 300th good deed! The occasion got him proudly wearing the bright red scarf while the other GoodGymers tried to hide from his watchful eye and sign a huge congratulations card.
The only number that was a bit lower than usual was the number of marshals. Maybe that was the reason for shortening today's parkrun course.
After distributing and scanning all the 67 little runners' barcodes we headed to a nearby coffee shop and bakery to ingest some caffeine before our next community mission in Acton.
It was a chance to indulge in a spiced pumpkin cake which we might not allow ourselves in the morning if it wasn't for Sevan's big milestone. Hopefully, he won't leave us waiting for too long for his 400th good deed and another yummy cake!

Going with the theme of numbers, what's with Divya having two index fingers in the first pic? And congrats Sevan

One of Divya's fingers is actually mine.
