Well British Summer Time definitely had ended as we all woke to pouring rain, wind and the odd clap of thunder. That wasn't going to deter 6 Goodgymers from doing a litter pick on the shore line near Milton Lock. Its not always possible to clean here as we have to do this when the tide is out but one thing we all knew is how much rubbish and plastic gets washed up on this stretch of beach so this morning was the perfect opportunity to clean this. When we arrived the rain stopped and the sun shone giving us enough dry time to get as much rubbish from the beach cleaned. Some of the interesting finds from this morning were; Angela finding a plastic champagne glass that has washed up Sarah finding what looked like part of a mini Connect 4 Rosie finding the end of a paint brush without the bristles Plenty of old rope A lot of small plastic and wrappers An old trainer, sock and some non identifiable material

We filled 5 bags of rubbish and one large bag of recycling. I think due to the amount of rubbish we filled in such a short space of time, we will visit here once again.
