I woke up to the sight of the beautiful sun and knew right away that this Sunday would be awesome. I had a mission lined up for 10 am, so I had plenty of time to get ready. I decided to double-check the mission confirmation and realised that Ms V wanted her shopping done in Lidl which is not open until 11 am on Sundays.

I phoned Ms V and suggested postponing the mission until 11 am. The bonus of the call was that I obtained the shopping list, so I could run straight to West Ealing Lidl, powered by the sun.

Most of the items from the list were available in Lidl but I had to visit Sainsbury's for the missing items like three cartons of soy milk. At the end of my errands in West Ealing, I made a strategic move and I came back to Lidl to buy frozen fish for Ms V's enormous cat to keep him bulked up for the upcoming winter.

Ms V was pleased to see me again (the last time I made an appearance as a gardener) and thanked me for the help. She said she loves the idea of GoodGym, would be delighted to see more of us again and would like to be involved in volunteering herself when she recovers enough from cancer.

After the successful mission, I bid Ms V and her cat goodbye and went to hang out in Ealing a bit longer to take advantage of the sunshine ☀️
