Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Kash
Last Saturday in the morning hours I was doing a farmer's walk exercise carrying a massive tyre. Today at the same time of the day I decided to do what I do the best instead - the shopper's walk. Who would provide me with better weights than Mr M? Despite that he prepared only £20 for me this time, his shopping list didn't seem to shrink at all. Actually, it was the very same list I used last week but with two positions crossed out. Mr M is not fussy at all when it comes to nutrition but he likes to properly stock up on his frozen foods. The quantity of most of the items was four, as usual. To fulfil the tradition Mr M told me to be careful and I was ready to run to East Acton's Iceland.
There were no surprises on the way or in the store. I quickly found everything and headed to the till. I had an impression that the cashier recognised me. I'm curious what she might be thinking about my usual 12 packs of frozen meals! After coming back, Mr M thanked me and said he appreciates my help.
It was my fourth mission for Mr M and the pattern is getting a bit surreal. Are all Mr M's shopping lists hardcoded and his lines scripted? Am I a character in a game where Mr M is an NPC giving me a weekly quest? Am I real? All I know is that the good feeling of doing good is real - let's stick to that!
