It was a damp evening but our spirits were sunny as we ran as a (socially distanced) group from Chiswick Town Hall to the North Lodge at Gunnersbury.

It was a reunion of sorts, with some of the GG Hounslow team reuniting for the first time in months! It has been a few months of solo missions, but now we're back and ready to take on the brambles!

A firm favourite, the bramble bashing provides us all with huge stress-relief after a day staring at screens or teaching young children! To lighten the mood moreso, we had the team pups in attendance too! Making sure no-one could work without some distractions (and cuddles).

We set to work (again) on one of the huge trees in the woodland area of the park, being careful not to cut back any brables over knee height as there may be birds nesting. We saw a wonderful array of wildlife, from butterflies to bees and had a good catch up on the lost last few months.

We'll be back at it at 10am on Sunday so come along to help out if you want to start your day of rest in a fulfilling way!
