Another ‘relay’ good virtual relay
10 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Portsmouth.

Tim kindly organised another virtual relay for us this weekend and this time it was slightly different. Instead of us all running a marathon as a team we ran 25k as a team, which meant we all ran a 5k leg each.
We had 10 runners signed up for this; Team 1 was Mel, Vicki, Jen, Sam and Lucy. Team 2 was Judy, John, Caroline, Jo K and Tim.
Caroline, Vicki and John headed out on Saturday and managed to meet up for a social distanced coffee and catch-up in the park after their runs. Jen and Jo headed out on Sat morning for their 5ks trying to find a route that wasn't all into a headwind. Mel headed out nice and early on Sunday to run her 5k, as did Judy, Lucy, Tim and Sam.
*Results from Tim Great running from everyone who took part in the 25k Challenge this weekend. It was nice running weather this morning, so perhaps those who ran today might have enjoyed it slightly more than those who ran yesterday in the wind! There certainly were some good times posted so we’ll done everybody. We were looking for a combined time of around 2.5 hours and one team came in just over that and one team came in under that. The runners-up with a time of 2:32.15 were Team 2 and the clear winners with a time of 2:26.39 were Team 1. So well done to Mel, Vicki, Jen, Sam and Lucy! Thanks all for taking part, hope you enjoyed it😀
Hope you enjoy your Welsh cakes Tim. Keep checking our website for future training sessions as Tim is thinking of a new challenge.
