I met Mikey and Nathan at our agreed location ready for our Monday night mission. Mikey had run a fair distance straight from work but after a few seconds to catch his breath, we were off! Nathan led the way, a well trodden route as this was his third visit to Ms F (and my second)!

Ms F welcomed us warmly! We introduced Mikey before Ms F explained our task. She still had some boxes to unpack from her recent move. The boxes hadn’t been marked up when they were packed and Ms F had been struggling to find some of the things she needed.

We set to work, going through the various boxes to find some of the essentials. Ms F explained that she used to be an international fashion buyer for a top London department store and had travelled the world. Each box held different memories. Ms F showed us paintings from South Africa, Malaysia and Japan with cushions from China and India. It was a real voyage of discovery! We also located some of the items Ms F had been struggling to find, including a grill which would mean Ms F could now cook her favourite food of fish and a well travelled teddy bear!

We helped Ms F to unpack three of the large boxes, bagged some of her recycling and reorganised her storage cupboard. Ms F was hugely grateful and wants to request our help with the last bit of unpacking before Christmas. We offered to supply the mince pies!

We bid Ms F farewell and ran back to our meeting point. In no time at all, it was time to part ways.
