Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by StephDucat
Friday Hub and 2 goodgymers were up early to meet at the Ealing Soup Kitchen for the tea service. Jacquie was on duties at the tea station with some beau(tea)ful and colourful cakes. Steph Ducat was not in the kitchen today as too many Chefs in, but assisting Dahr with the foyer area. Setting up and managing the space for the games/bingo, English lessons, showers, barber, new book/library section, clothes and grocery bag queueing system to avoid any pushing etc. Steph was then in charge of giving the tickets for the 70 parcels that would be given out at 2pm. As nobody wanted to do the information board, Steph grabbed the pens to update the board with today's schedule and added colours instead of just having red writing. Jacquie was in full swing on the tea station and all the cakes disappeared quickly.
Ealing Soup Kitchen is a registered charity set up to help the vulnerable and homeless in the area. Nine local churches support our faith-based Soup Kitchen, which has been running since 1973.
