On a very blustery, but very warm Saturday morning I attended my first ever trip to Sloughbottom Parkrun for volunteering duties. Barcode scanning was my duty today with Elliott out in the far flung wilds of the Park at his allotted spot. #25th parkrun here saw 317 people, their highest attendance to date. The run was taken over by the fabulous #RunMummyRun ladies who were profiling their running group today, also Coleman Opticians were raising awareness for their October Breast Cancer Awareness campaign hence the pink flamingos along the route and lining the finish funnel, with Catton Park closed many gave this Park a try. Norwich Goodgymers were running here today including Kate R running her 50th Parkrun, well done Kate and all those running today from our Goodgym family. Here at Sloughbottom Parkrun you can enjoy free refreshment, but will take donations if you are able, come and give them a try.
