A crowd of 37 ran to Rosendale Fields to clear brambles and Ivy.
Led by the experienced blue shorts Tom and supported by Bordeaux man Axel we headed through the streets of Brixton and up passed Brockwell park up to Rosendale Fields. 2.7km under our belts half the group tackled brambles while the rest got stuck into a series of delightful plank-based core exercises. Front, side and supine (back?). This was supplemented by some work on knees. Look at Mo's lovely knees.
Stuff got sorted quick. 20mins of work from both sides and huge pile of bramble and ivy had been ripped off the building.
For the way back we split into a 4 groups for some half-marathon pacing:
9min/ mile Led by Alex taking a 5k route. (5min 35secs /km)
8min/ mile led by Tom taking a 5k route. (5mins/km)
6min/ kms took a 2.7km route and
And a 6.20min kms group also taking the 2.7km route back.
