Wow!!! Where did the sun disappear too?!

A soggy one tonight for 10 committed runners in Bath and a 6k run to Peter Pan pre school to give the Astro turf some much needed maintenance.

Welcome introductions to Rhiannon and Lauren joining us for the first time at Goodgym Bath

Well done to everyone who raced over the weekend, it was great to have our fellow Goodgymers join us from as far afield as York, but what an action packed fun filled time everyone had.

A chance to get some extra fitness in despite the long run out with some looping back and leg strengthening drills.

Marie our host was on hand to greet the runners and suitably impressed that we still work in the wet.

Our first job was to weed and sweep the debris before spreading bags of sand across the AstroTurf and sweeping it into the Turf

Brushing wet sand is easier said than done

But didn't we have fun trying to get this task done, Lauren had the biggest and heaviest brush to work with and alongside Rhiannon did a sterling job for their first task and made light work of a longer run.

After 30mins of solid sand shifting it was time to trot on back after our group Boomerang and photo.

Thankfully a swift downhill run back into the centre. Thanks to Mary for back marking and Ollie for tonight's Metallica themed pun.
