Report written by Angela Isherwood
There is a rumour that one of us stayed home watching Babe instead of coming out to run, hence the wonderful title by Tav, and the wonderful photo with Ella. P.I.G.S stands for perfectly ingenius goodgym satisfaction.
A perfect autumn evening for a run into the town centre Emmaus warehouse to sort some books. We welcomed Ailish for her first Goodgym run, and welcomed back Stuart, who I've not met before but had run before with Goodgym Colchester.
We helped with sorting through the very laden bookshelves in the warehouse. Emmaus get 1-2 tonnes of books donated each month, and as you can imagine, only a very small percentage are of any interested to people who would buy them, but we can help them sell by how they are displayed, and will be returning in a few weeks to finish the job.
We found some very useful books, such as the Baby sleep guide, and "Paula, my story so far", and some less useful books, like the Encyclopedia of pears.
When we were done sorting books, we made our way to north hill for 3 hill repeats. These were finished in record time before a gentle jog back to leisure world, where Tav told us about his coach running and we learnt more about how we can get involved with Goodgym.

Haha, I did indeed stay at home and watch Babe with unexpected family visitors! They were happy, so felt bad about the idea of turfing them out when I hadn't seen them for a while. :) Looks like you all enjoyed the task!
