This morning was the first day of winter as far as Junior parkrun in London was concerned. Layers were applied, snoods were pulled down over heads and gloves were rummaged for and not found.

Everyone had cold hands, so we did what we could to warm them up. We rubbed our hands together, tried to find a sunny spot to stand in and clapped as hard as we could as the runners passed. A few of the 72 runners high fived us to feed us with their energy too 🖐️⚡
