Chalomi and I worked hard alongside Leslie and Marsha to sort today's donations to the Southwark Food Cooperative. It was pretty chilly down in the basement but we sorted through a good 50 crates of amazing veg from Ted's veg, a few crates of mushrooms, a load of herbs and spices, a mountain of tea, and a few cubic metres of bread, all under the watchful eye of Bryan.
This task supported
The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
