Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Michael Kidd
A deceptively sunny Saturday lunchtime turned into a wet and windy gardening job for Mrs J at her lovely house in suburban Greenford. She welcomed us with tools and tea and set us to task on weeding four big clusters of flowerpots across her substantial garden. It looked like a big job and was even bigger in practice but we finished in just over an hour with an efficient operation of Michael ripping out the offending triffids followed by Alicia putting in the finishing touches and catching anything missed first time.
Mrs J's face suggested that she was both surprised and grateful that we finished everything and she's ready to plant bulbs for the winter. She even tried to pay us!
A very rewarding task and Mrs J will probably call on GoodGym's services again.
