Two GoodGymmers visited St. George The Martyr church in Borough today to help the Church prepare for its weekly Supermarket which is held on Thursday.
Myself and fellow GoodGymmer Tilly initially helped in re-filling shelves and then we waited for the delivery van to arrive which today arrived later than usual, however once it arrived along with other volunteers who are regulars at the Church we both managed to unload and log all the food items that arrived. A great team effort by everyone involved. 😊👍

The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
