Steph arrived at the Salvation Army Hall for the ESK 6pm shift with a small queue already waiting outside for takeaway food. Kash and Sevan were leaving as did the 1st shift. No food cooked and the team was waiting for a delivery from a local restaurant. Emma arrived with the food : vegetable curry was on the menu. Emma gave Steph's favorite jacket : bright yellow one which means security duties outside for crowd control. As bank holiday, it was very quite despite an early queue formed from 430pm, Customers welcomed the hot food, snack and food parcels. After 7pm, as it was not busy, seconds were given out so that no food to waste. End of shift approaching and Steph went in to help pack things away : mainly folding the tables and putting them away. The Guardian of the Galaxy left with the other volunteers under a light rain.
