434 people got up early for a 08.30 start to this 1st parkrun of 2020 many then driving straight over to Lingwood or Blickling to participate in a 2nd parkrun, the only time you’re able to do this. It was ideal conditions weather wise although it was still a little dusky. I was number checker today which means you are darting about between the timekeeper and token giver making sure the results are accurate and also recording any non scanning barcodes. This helped with my own start to RED January as I wasn’t running. As always, people ran/jogged/walked their way around the park, plenty of families coming together to participate, running clubs also, it was a wonderful start to the year.
