Report written by Ella J (She/her)
After getting a bit of a soaking last week it was nice to have a (fairly) dry evening of litter picking and in the light too! Makes that pesky litter easier to spot.
It was great to have Louise back and the lovely Helen and Stu who even brought their own litter pickers - now that's dedication!
It was new(ish) regular Sophie's 9th task; well done Sophie, nearly double figures! Also well done to Frazer who received a round of applause for his epic half marathon in the pouring rain!
Our litter pick took us to Sheepen Road where we found looaads of rubbish scattered in the bushes, embedded under soil and shrubbery. The most interesting find was a rather creepy Phantom of the Opera style mask which Tav modelled from a distance (see pic)!
Well done all, a good haul. We only hope our efforts don't go unnoticed and, as always, that litter-free environments encourage people not to litter in the first place.
