Twelve terrifying GoodGymmers ran and walked 3k to post flyers for the Phoenix Cinema in Halloween costumes last night.
Meeting at the Phoenix we were met by Task Force Fay who had brought a huge bag full of dress up items and a cauldron full of sweets! We had some excellent fancy dress: a pirate, Dia de Muerta costume, Death himself, and a rather terrifying glowing mask with hood. Everyone else shared around the Halloween themed items from Fay's stash. Thanks Fay!
Fay was also trialling our first GGB walking group. Fiona joined her and they set off to flyer the roads close to the Phoenix. Tell your friends and we'll accommodate this wherever possible!
As for the rest of us: after a quick warm up we set off, flyers in hand. The costumes were not generally designed for running but that didn't slow us down. We distributed a huge box of flyers in no time before setting about a quick fitness session and a run around the spookily decorated houses of East Finchley. (Stopping plenty of times for spooky photoshoots too... And Blue Steel practice 👀. )
After the short run back to the phoenix we celebrated with more sweets and a trip to the pub. Thanks for coming team!
