I had the best ice pun to tell you… it slipped my mind though.

It was super cold this morning, but that didn't stop 81 brave children from tackling 2 laps of Woking Park for the Junior Parkrun.

Alys took care of the first timers briefing and also managed the funnel. James, joined by Rich from https://sites.google.com/view/nosweatrunningcommunity/home did the course setup and check as well as took care of the timekeeping duties. Georgina, also from NSRC was with us today and did barcode scanning as well as photography.

After the final finisher did the course in a little over 28 minutes, James, Georgina and Rich went off for breakfast at McDonalds before we parted ways for another week.

Do sign up for next week if you can, they are always in need of volunteers and all roles are easy and fun.
