Goodgym runners ran (in their running clothes - thankfully) to help out the Samye Foundation this evening!
With the release of Peter Rabbit in the cinemas it was so good that we had runners still come along to GoodGym tonight.
At 6.30pm all 12 runners headed outside for to warm up. After 5 minutes of an intense dynamic warm up which involved saying our names and sharing what we had for food for lunch today everyone began running to the Samye Foundation.
Get down and give me 10!
The run this evening did not follow our usual route, instead we ran 'off piste' down side streets and through parks! We also stopped to do a quick fitness session; 10 press ups, 10 tricep dips and 20 seconds of intense steps ups!
Welcome to the Samye Foundation
Runners arrived at the Samye Foundation and were welcomed by Jon and Lorraine. Lorraine explained to everyone the tasks, which included;
What antics were there?
This task took 30 minutes... Did the runners manage to complete it? YES - They did! HULK STRENGTH was on display... none of the runners turned green though!
Lorraine and Jon had laid out a platter of food for us as a thank you for helping out... It was a lovely surprise!! - They are wonderful :)
