Report written by Duncan Anderson
So I have been practicing on descriptive writing since my last report on Saturday. Duncan and Katie London arrived at 4pm. The weather was sunny and the Vaccination Centre was working the opposite way round with patients going in the front door, how strange! then the waiting area was in the large marquee in the Church car park. I briefly saw Katie who was inside near the entrance and I was in a very lonely position guarding the back gate. Not sure what I was guarding it against but I clearly kept all the monsters out. I had a brief chat with Tracey just before she left and then Lucy came over and gave me a kiss much to the surprise of another volunteer at first who didn’t realise we were a couple. I started to note all the highlights which were two Magpies, a Herring Gull, Pigeons, a Chinook Helicopter and the moon. I was brought a cup of tea at 5:30pm and Another bit of entertainment was watching the shadow move on the fence panels, I tried to make the GG logo as a shadow puppet but failed miserably 😂. Then to my surprise they decided to close the back gate and Marquee and I was told I could go at 6pm. I went to speak to Katie to say goodbye and told her to take a picture of the International Space Station fly over which she did with a supersonic phone lens, see picture.
