It’s that time of the year the annual Martian Race 👽around Horsell Common & McLaren park but with the added difficulty of the ☀️ it was a tough one.

James, Adam, & Andy took on the half marathon (James doropped down to 10k), while myself, Anne & Maya did the 10k & Kirsty & Lauren doing the 5k.

700 runners took part and it was a fantastic atmosphere with plenty of spectators and refreshments around the course and the event village.

The course itself was very well marshaled with water stations every 5k. I must admit the heat made it very difficult but hats off to everyone. Kirsty & Lauren were returning from injuries and did fantastically well.

Due to the the tasks and good deed that Goodgym do there was plenty of people cheering us on from various organisations that we have helped which was great to see😃
