The evening started at Anytime Fitness. After a quick chat about the evenings task, we set off on the 2km run to Derrys Allotment On the way we stopped off for a quick warm up on the Hill! This consisted of two varying speed sprints!

We then continued onto our task, were we met Tony the 'Allotment keeper' who showed us the way to the plot. What was the story behind todays plot I hear you ask... well the plot was donated to a Syrian family who's father had just gone through triple by pass surgery so was has been unable to keep the plot maintained.

So the group got to work and cleared a bed of weeds and dug it all over, once the task was complete we headed to the allotment gates to start the run back. At this point we discovered we had been given the wrong key so ended up being locked in. A quick a call to the allotment keeper and ten minutes later which gave us time to find out more about each other and interesting facts, with one being Hannah Thomas who taught us that each cell has two meters of DNA and if all cells DNA were put together then it would stretch to the Sun and back five times. After the biology lesson we were set free and headed back to the base for a quick cool down.
