Woking Report written by Woking runner
As GoodGym Woking do most Sundays, Karen, James, Wayne and I (Anne) met at Woking Park to support junior parkrun.
There were 34 volunteers scattered along the 2 kms route doing various duties. Wayne and Anne were at the beginning of the course as they were going to St John’s Lye to help the biodiversity group of WEAct as soon as their task was over.
213 children completed the course. The finish line was crossed after a run which lasted 7:13 and the tail runner took 29:33. It was good to see so many children enjoying running with, or without, their parents.
It was a great day to run and there was a loooong queue at the ice-cream van!
Happy running to you all.

Junior Park Run 🏃♂️
Woking Junior Park run was back this morning after a few weeks off. The park did have a few obstacles at the start but the runners navigated around them 😊.
Wayne, Karen, & Adam got to the park early to have a catch up. It was great hearing about Karen recent trip to Michu Picuhu sounded like a great trip. It was also good to catch up with Adam but not so good to hear about Adam injury which he picked up at the Richmond 1/2, and is now slowly changing his exercise routine to get himself back to his peak (Speedy Recovery Adam)
There was a great turn out this morning with 144 Runners taking part. The quickest time was an amazing 07:36 and there were also a fantastic 105 PB's Great running by everyone 🏃♂️.
