Thank goodness our task was one where we kept moving last night, as the temperatures were dropping rapidly! That didn't stop six tough GGers braving the elements for a very good cause.

Our Hounslow tradition is that the last two group runs of the year we dedicate to the That's a Wrap project. With 37% of all children in Hounslow living in poverty this fabulous organisation collects toy donations to give to a local child that would otherwise go without this winter.

The toys are distributed locally to children experiencing poverty or disadvantage, and our goal last night was to spread the word to as many houses as we could and get those donations pouring in!

So armed with 500 leaflets and many layers we worked out a route and got cracking. With Alan's excellent sense of direction honed from many laps of the local streets during lockdown, we formed a very efficient human chain, even picking up a Christmas Elf in the shape of Jonathan along the way.

For the second time in recent missions Harvey again found a set of keys hanging in the lock of a door, preventing potential disaster and providing another vital public service!

Before long we had dispatched all 500 leaflets to houses, churches, pubs and other local hubs. Luis has even managed to collect a donation already, which will shortly be winging its way to It's a Wrap!
