Report written by Colchester runner
We met at Pam's house in Abbeygate Street and it was so good to be back together again.
We welcomed Becky for her first time with us and James for his second.Pleasure to have you both with us,please keep coming !
Everyone was pleased to see other and spend time with each other. We were blessed with a quite beautiful evening after possibly the warmest day of the year so far.
We were there to help a group we have done lots of things with in the past,Colchester In Bloom.Pam is always pleased to see us and tonight was no exception.
We split into 2 groups of 6 so we could cover the various areas Pam wanted us to tidy.
The 45 minutes we had set ourselves flew by with everything getting done and with lots of catching up with how our lives have been in the last few months since we last all met.
I think it's fair to say everyone was pleased to see each other again !!
There are various planters around the town which needed their winter bedding taking out.Hence we took out any weeds and any plants than can be replanted next year were kept.
We said our goodbyes and looked forward to the next time we will be together.
Mission Colchester in Bloom: our mission is to generate community involvement in making Colchester a more beautiful place to live and wor. A blooming Colchester will creates that feel good factor which will contribute towards social and economic vitality.
