In the deep woodlands surrounding rail tracks in Sudbury Hill lived Bad Santa. He only worked on Christmas Day and spent the rest of the year drinking cheap beer and vodka, setting campfires in the woods, and leaving litter wherever he went. There were rumours that he was stealing supermarket trolleys and kidnapping kittens. People, birds and squirrels feared going into the wilderness, unsure what they could end up stepping into.

Bad Santa's behaviour didn't go unnoticed. Friends of Grove Farm called to action to bring order back into the park they cared for. Bad Santa and his mess had to go. When reinforcements from GoodGym and LAGER Can arrived, the troublemaker in question tied himself to the wired fence by his Santa hat and refused to go. Mike wasn't going to stand for that and took a saw to cut the naughty Santa out of the fencing. Ouch!

We felt like we should a least give Bad Santa a lift to the nearest road. We put him into an Iceland trolley and navigated through steep inclines, narrow passages between bushes, cuts in the fence, and paths dangerously lined with tissues to bring him to safety. Then we collected all the cans and glass bottles he'd been piling up by the fence during all the years of drinking.

With our help, LAGER Can collected 45 bags of rubbish and 35 not bagged items. Pretty impressive. We hope that Bad Santa Claus is not coming back to Sudbury Town anytime soon. If he does, GoodGym will be ready to deal with his mess next time!

I think this is Santa missing his delivery during lockdown times and decided to have all the food and drinks by himself and collapsed in Grove Farm
