Seas-ing the day (and all of the litter!)
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Southsea Beachwatch in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 7th of March 2020
- Led by Maura Cole
After a " refreshing " park run 6 and a half goodgymers did the best to keep Southsea beach clean and stopped the litter bits going in to the sea.
We found the usual bits like cigarette butts, bottles heads, sweets wrappers. Our biggest challenge was to pick up the THOUSANDS pieces of pink and yellow arcade tickets left amongst the pebbles!.
While Maura is normally dressed for the arctic, but today everyone agrees the air sea was really freezing !!! so after making sure the beach was clean we warm ourselves with deserved hot drinks yay!
