Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Kash
This Monday's collab between GoodGym and Ealing Soup Kitchen had not one but two GoodGym groups, wow!
Madhan and Claire arrived at 5pm to set up the stage for the great food & clothes distribution for homeless and vulnerable people. It was a special day for both - Madhan hit the round 10 good deeds and Claire... wait for it... 100! The audience was quite small, so the proper 💯 celebrations would happen the next day at Impact Theatre!
Madhan got a snazzy hi-vis outwear on and looked very professional when managing the queue and distributing the food parcels. Meanwhile, Claire was running the womens section of West Ealing's Harrods branch, making sure that the ladies in need of new clothes to keep them warm would get the best match when it comes to fit, colour and pattern. She was later joined by retail apprentices Sevan and Michelle from the second GoodGym shift that night.
It was another successful support of Ealing Soup Kitchen by GoodGym volunteers. Next Monday task will be on 20th February at 16:00 and 18:15. Check out the other tasks (including the Friday shift) at Ealing Soup Kitchen!
Ealing Soup Kitchen is a registered charity set up to help the vulnerable and homeless in the area. Nine local churches support our faith-based Soup Kitchen, which has been running since 1973.
