Gunslingers Kash and Sevan ran out to the north western badlands of Ealing borough for their first mission of the day. They'd been training up their guns for some tough furniture moving 💪. They thought that maybe Mr R wanted them to stack everything against the front windows to provide some protection from the outlaws outside.

When they arrived in front of Mr R's house, Kash & Sevan were surprised to find his car in the front yard with all of its windows intact. He must be one tough cookie, commanding the respect of the local residents thought Sevan. As Kash and Sevan approached, the saloon doors into Mr R's house swung open, untouched by human hand. From inside, a gentle voice welcomed them in. It was Mr R's, who greeted them from his mobility scooter.

It turned out that Mr R wasn't scared of the bandits outside and there'd be no barricading of the front windows. Instead, Mr R was dreaming of a home renovation to make it easier for him to get around his house.

Kash and Sevan were asked to move items around the living room and also out of it to prepare for some new hospital furniture now and for new flooring to be installed later. After first moving a bed base, next up was to move out some AV equipment. The first part of this task was to relocate an AV stand, which uncovered the spaghetti of cables hiding behind it. As much of the tangle as possible was unpicked, but eventually they had to chop some speaker cables with a handy pair of secateurs. This enabled Mr R's whole 5.1 speaker set up to be stashed in another room.

After that, the remaining tasks were simple. Line up some clothes airers and close the loft hatch. Apparently the hatch had a broken catch, but Sevan gave it a shove and it stayed in place. Mr R was very impressed and unexpectedly happy about such a small thing being fixed. Sevan tried it a couple more times, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but no, it was safely stowed in position.

After a bit of chatting about whether newly washed sheets should go on the top or bottom of the stack and the other tasks that GoodGym can help with, Kash and Sevan ventured back out into the wilds of Greenford and snuck out of town, onto their next task of the day.
