Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Kash
I was falling asleep when typing my last three mission reports (100% true!), so I can imagine they must have been a bit lengthy. I couldn't trim my trip to Lidl today but I will try to trim the report!
For the last couple of weeks, Mrs U had trouble contacting her new referrer as they might have been on sick leave. The result? Mrs U was without GoodGym Delivery Service for a month - although my records show I have done shopping for her three weeks ago... Nonetheless, Mrs U had to resort to using powdered milk which is not fun! And - as you can imagine - today's shop was not a lightweight one! "You will need three bags", Mrs U warned. She was 100% right.
I went to West Ealing Lidl and got most of the groceries from there. I must admit I was running late, so I politely said I don't think it would be efficient if I walk to big Lidl in Hanwell just to get the Lidl catalogue (Mrs U mercifully didn't put the marble cake on the list, so there was no other reason for a longer trip). I popped into Iceland to get the frozen corn on the cob and to Tesco on the way back to purchase Hovis bread.
The walk back was long but I think the load was still right under 15 kg. If Mrs U reckoned it might have been a bit too much when she saw the bags I brought back, it might have been a bit too much. I will be away for the next couple of weekends, so I guess I have to keep training to be ready for the next heavy shop! But I silently hope another GoodGymer will be around to take the challenge and help Mrs U.
