The NineRed peace garden had had a break in and a few odd bits stolen, as well as the trees that we planted last year for the Queen's Green Canopy taking a kicking so it all needed a tidy up and some TLC to get everything back in place.
On close inspection most of the trees were doing ok and the guard mesh and stakes just needed replacing. A bit frustrating because we only just re-did that a few weeks ago but the trees are just waking up so we got it all back in place before they noticed the difference.
Meanwhile, inside the garden, we set to removing the weeds that had invaded over the winter and made a start on getting things tidy and ready for a new season of community building.
We'll be back soon with some replacement trees to replace those that were lost.
