Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
What a run! 2 new runners! And we were joined by Jack, from Made In Bristol, and his plucky film crew. Jack was there to film our run and our voluntary work, so what better place to showcase the joys of Good Gym than to go and help Sara at Incredible Edible.
We needed to allow time for the film crew to get to the entrance to Castle Park, so we took a bit of a detour around Queens Square before heading in to the park.
Once we'd hooked up with Sara, we got dug in to the hard work of weeding a flower and vegetable bed. It was a little tricky to spot which plants were to go and which were to stay, but we seemed to get a lot of weeds up, and the bed looked a lot tidier afterwards.
It didn't take that long to weed the flower bed, so we headed over to Temple Quay for a spot of lunging, press ups, and a highly experimental Mexican jump squat. Don't try this at home, people!
We returned Jack safe and sound to his film crew, and had a good stretch out in the gathering darkness of the Folk House terrace. As always, thank you so much to all who came. When we know for sure when our lovely red t-shirts will be on the telly, we'll let you know! Haven't got a red t-shirt? Why not join as a member and get one!
