This morning six of us walked/ran/cycled to Strand on the Green Infant School in Kew to help. We welcomed Ishan on his first ever GoodGym good deed!

We were asked to clear the weeds from the road leading up to the car park, cut the hedges back in the car park itself, and do a bit of general sweeping and tidying. Ishan had come armed with his own gardening tools and it is clear that he'll fit in very well with GG.

It was a really productive task as we filled several bin bags and made it all look much neater! Sadly, by the end, two out of three brooms had lost their heads (clearly over enthusiastic sweeping from us).

We also found a tiny little angry Lego head, modelled in the picture by Ben, and unsuccessfully tried to lure over a cat who was just on the other side of the hedges.

Overall a nice warm morning with good company and good results from our efforts!
