Two Goodgymers went to the Team Springboard allotment to support with autumnal allotment upkeep tasks.

The autumn sunshine kept us warm as I harvested the last of the tomatoes and cleared beds ready for green manure over winter. Lil sorted the apples into eating or crumbling. One important job was to taste test the apples and I can confirm they were absolutely delicious! We also had time for a cuppa and a piece of homemade cake- thanks Esther!

The food that was harvested today was given out to local people in Coventry.
